I can see where Branded is coming from tbf. "Acts of God" like a relative dying or cancer diagnosis are fucking horrible and brutal but we all deal with them cos we have to. Something that might seem trivial but severely knocks ya confidence like a rejection from something you've had your heart set on or finding out your missus has been shagging your mate etc etc can fuck people up far more, I reckon.
You always hear about these students or whatever topping themselves when they don't pass, to any of us we might think fuck it, try something else, but if they've had their entire lives built up to becoming a doctor or engineer or whatever and then having it taken away from them, it's gonna severely mess them up. All that guilt/shame etc.

Well I'd say the last 3 weeks have been mental for me. This is all true I swear
2 weeks ago I went to my father's funeral. OK he ws 82 and it was pancreatic cancer.
But this monday night I swore I heard a terrifying scream around 11-12 form below. I live on the 5th floor of a 9 story block in Brussels. My street is one of the ost exclusive Louise so not a rough area. But busy and you hear lost of noises. So I ignored it . I was also half asleep and had been watching a horror movie The Darkness wity Kevin Bacon. Next morning the place is raided 4 police cars , one plain and an ambulance. Machiine guns the lot. I'm wfh. The police knock. and as about noises etc and I tell them. Apparently a young guy was murdered stabbed to death by a guy he invited back. Killer is still loose.
The on Weds I lost my wallet all bank cards, and Belgium ID on the tram home.
But on Sunday I did get off with a hot blonde 23 Yo United Airlines Air Stewardess from Sacremento.
So not all bad :-)

Having the world in the palm of ur hand and then getting robbed. Meaning u had to knock others. I lose my friends cos IM the bad one. I wonder if those who fucked me over worry about that. Oh, then getting cancer. Brill.

I was getting noticed by the prettiest girl in his school, Pamela (who already had a boyfriend who wants to ruin my life named Mick). But in the middle of it all, I kept feeling an effects of a dog whistle and itched everywhere and even discovered that my nails were longer and sharp. When I came home from a party, I discovered a new problem. I was a half human-wolf hybrid. I'm serious.
I tried to keep this a secret, but during a basketball game the secret came out and it helped me to turn his life around, the basketball team started to become a contender for the state championships. I became very popular, and I was finally noticed by Pamela, and we began to go out with each other (despite that Pamela is still going out with Mick).
However, my father warns me about turning into a wolf out of anger which stops me leathering Mick.
It’s a constant struggle.

I hope this doesn't upset anyone.
Three of my grandparents survived to their 90s. The other died of lung cancer in his early 60s.
I switched off the life support machine for my father. His liver had been biopsied, but the diseased part, so it didn't heal. He bled into his stomach, and the plug in his side that held the drain burst. He bled died of renal failure and was an alcoholic.
I found my mother in law dead on the floor. She had a heart attack because the chemotherapy she was enduring was too strong for her.
I found my mother dead on the floor. A blood clot got trapped in her lung. She was a COPD sufferer.
My father in law died of metastatic cancer in his 80s. That was August 2012.
The dog died of cancer in December 2012.
My wife died of cancer in February 2013.
Apart from my brother and my 12 year old son, there's no-one left to die.

Well Branded's made me LOL even though I'm sure it wasn't meant that way, but always good that human's are generally able to put a brave face on things and will often laugh at things that are bloody awful.
Always find it crazy when families fall out with each other, though if I wasn't laid back I'd have probably murdered my sister years ago for being a miserable horrible bitch to my parents, while always being nice to me.
